Refrigerant Inc ships all refrigerant in full compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Refrigerant is classified as a hazardous material by the U.S. Department of Transportation, and we ensure:

  • Proper Hazmat labeling
  • Required shipping documentation
  • Fully compliant transport procedures

⚠️ Purchasing refrigerant from companies that do not follow these regulations may result in:

  • Shipment confiscation
  • Fines for both the shipper and receiver

✅ We guarantee your refrigerant is shipped legally and safely — with zero compliance risk to you.


⏱️ Order Processing & Cut-Off Time

  • Order Cut-Off Time: 9:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
  • Orders placed after cut-off are processed the next business day

Handling Time:

  • 2–4 business days (Monday–Friday)

🚚 Shipping Methods & Delivery Time

We ship via trusted carriers including:

  • UPS
  • FedEx
  • LTL Freight carriers (for bulk orders)

Transit Time:

  • Standard U.S. Shipping: 5–8 business days (Monday–Friday)

Shipping Cost:

  • Free shipping within the United States

⚠️ Hazmat Shipping Restrictions

Due to Department of Transportation regulations for compressed gases:

  • Refrigerant shipments must be sent via ground shipping only
  • Expedited/air shipping is not permitted

✍️ Signature Required Policy

To protect your order:

  • 2 or more cylinders: Signature required (UPS)
  • 10+ cylinders: Shipped via LTL Freight (signature required)

If delivery is missed, the customer is responsible for coordinating redelivery or pickup.


🛡️ Shipping Insurance (IMPORTANT)

Refrigerant Inc offers optional shipping insurance through ShipInsure.

If You Purchase Insurance:

  • Your shipment is protected against:
    • Loss
    • Damage
    • Theft
  • Claims are handled quickly and efficiently

If You Decline Insurance:

By declining shipping insurance, you agree that:

  • You assume full responsibility once the order is transferred to the carrier
  • Refrigerant Inc is not liable for:
    • Lost packages
    • Stolen packages
    • Damaged shipments
    • Missing items
    • Delivery delays
    • Packages marked “Delivered”
  • All claims must be filed directly with the carrier

📦 Transfer of Responsibility

Responsibility transfers to the customer once the shipment is:

  • Picked up by the carrier, and/or
  • Marked as “Delivered” in tracking

At that point, the order is considered fulfilled by Refrigerant Inc.


📍 Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

  • Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking to update

If your order has not arrived within 2 business days after the expected delivery window, contact us at:

📮 Shipping to P.O. Boxes

Some carriers have limitations when delivering to P.O. Boxes.

👉 To avoid delays, please provide a valid physical address at checkout.


❗ Incorrect Shipping Information

Refrigerant Inc is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer
  • Failed delivery attempts

Additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.


📦 Damaged Shipments

If Insurance Was Purchased:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Provide:
    • Photos of product
    • Packaging
    • Shipping label

We will process your claim promptly.

If Insurance Was Declined:

Claims must be handled directly with the carrier.


🚫 Lost or Stolen Packages

  • Insured shipments: Covered and eligible for resolution
  • Uninsured shipments: Customer assumes responsibility

Refrigerant Inc does not guarantee replacement or refund for uninsured shipments.


🔁 Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Returns:

  • Accepted within 30 days of delivery
  • Item must be:
    • Unused
    • In original condition

Refund = order total minus return shipping costs


Damaged Items:

If your order arrives damaged, email:

We handle these on a case-by-case basis.


Refunds:

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • You will receive an email confirmation
  • If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • Return shipping costs will be deducted

💳 Chargebacks & Disputes

By placing an order, you agree to this Shipping Policy.

Refrigerant Inc reserves the right to provide proof of:

  • Shipment
  • Delivery confirmation
  • Customer agreement to terms

In disputes with payment providers such as:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard

Orders marked “Delivered” may be considered fulfilled.
