Fast Flush — AC System Flush, Quart
Fast Flush is a professional-grade flushing solvent designed to clean refrigerant lines, evaporators, condensers, and system components of oil, sludge, burnout residue, and contaminants. It is an essential product when replacing a failed or burned-out compressor — failing to flush the system before installing a new compressor is one of the most common causes of repeat compressor failures. Fast Flush evaporates completely, leaving no residue behind.
When to Use Fast Flush
- Compressor replacement — Flush the system to remove burnt oil, metal particles, and acid residue from a failed compressor before installing the replacement
- Contaminated system — Any time system contamination (moisture, acid, debris) is suspected
- Refrigerant retrofit — Recommended when converting from mineral oil to POE lubricant to remove residual mineral oil from lines and components
- System burnout recovery — After an electrical burnout, the entire refrigerant circuit needs flushing before recharging
Specifications
- Size: 1 quart (32 oz)
- Residue: Leaves no residue — fully evaporates
- Application: HVAC and automotive AC refrigerant circuit flushing
How to Use
Recover all refrigerant from the system. Flush through refrigerant lines, evaporator, and condenser using the flush solvent and a flush gun or hand pump. Allow to fully evaporate and purge with nitrogen. Replace the filter-drier, pull a deep vacuum, and recharge. Always follow the product label instructions and equipment manufacturer's service procedures.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to flush the system when replacing a compressor?
Yes, if the old compressor failed due to burnout, mechanical failure, or contamination. Skipping the flush sends debris and contaminated oil directly into the new compressor, dramatically shortening its life. Even on clean failures, flushing is best practice.
Does Fast Flush leave residue?
No. Fast Flush is formulated to fully evaporate from the system, leaving no residue that could contaminate refrigerant or lubricant.
